Coaching: Discovering the Best Version of Yourself
Research in the United States showed that while a training intervention with managers increased their productivity by an average of 22 %, adding a one-to-one (8-week) coaching intervention after the training pushed productivity up to 88 %. Another study found that a company's investment in providing coaching for its executives realized an average return on investment (ROI) of almost six times the cost of the coaching.
Because the evidence and our own experience confirming the positive impact of coaching is so overwhelming, coaching plays an integral part in most of our client journeys. During an initial consultation with clients we help identify their needs and how these could be addressed most effectively. Because people are a company's greatest asset, we usually start with the focus on individuals with a combination of StrengthsFinderTM and DISC360 assessments and coaching.
During these one-on-one coaching sessions we use the results from these psychometric evaluations to help individuals understand what they have to offer in terms of their unique strengths and skills and how they can be the best possible versions of themselve by developing and using these. Ideally, the journey then continues to teams where we again follow a strengths-based approach to help teams allign individual abilities with team goals and results.
